Mandakini’s life changed in her late 20s when she was suffering from acne (facial pimples). As a young woman, this deeply affected her self-esteem and mood. Dermatologists prescribed antibiotics to take every day (indefinitely) and a strong contraceptive pill (Diane-35) to treat her skin.
Such a strong medication meant she had a liver function test every 3 months to check for liver damage. The medications cleared her skin but, frustratingly, every time she stopped, her skin flared up again. She also knew that consuming these drugs long term could be harmful.
So she made a decision to discover the root cause of her condition and to find a natural solution to treat it from the inside out and thus her wellness journey began.
She learned about nutrition (eastern and western approaches), Ryoho Wellness yoga, Ayurveda, Macrobiotics, Food as medicine and more.
As her skin cleared up, she became fascinated by the world of complementary medicine and, Grateful for her life changing results, she left her career in Engineering and Finance to train and qualify in all aspects of the Ryoho Wellness system.

After turning 50, Mandakini started experiencing Menopause symptoms, including hot flushes, night sweats, mood swings etc.
Given her history in health and nutrition, she was surprised by the impact these symptoms had on the quality of her life.
Again determined to resolve the situation naturally, she embarked on a journey of discovery, studying and experiencing the impact various foods, drinks, activities and mental states had on these symptoms.
She discovered there were 3 major problems in the area of menopause:
1) Lack of preparation toward this significant stage in women’s life.
2) Lack of understanding of how to manage these symptoms.
3) Lack of one stop holistic support.
Mandakini also became aware to how much suffering women go through in this phase of their life (up to 85% of western women experience some form of symptoms). In addition, women could suffer from 5 to 15 years; some still suffer into their 70’s, hence the great need to take control of the situation.
All of the above led to the creation of her signature program “Menopause Relief Naturally”, where she educates women about all aspects of menopause and supports and encourages them while they implement the necessary changes to empower them and improve the quality of their life.
In her personal life, Mandakini loves connecting with like-minded people, healthy food, travel and, yes, cats too. She lives happily in Brisbane Australia with Ross, her partner of 20 years and her fur baby “Princess”.
